Feature Request: Date-Specific Currency Settings (Multi-Currency Support
Users request a feature to change currency settings based on a specific date range, allowing new expenses to be recorded in a new currency while preserving historical data in the original currency. This would enhance usability for travelers.
I am a regular and premium Life time user of your Expense Tracker application and I rely on it for my daily finances. However, I am facing a significant issue regarding currency management when traveling. Currently, if I visit another country (for example, UAE) and change the global currency setting to dirham (AED), the app retroactively converts all my past data (INR) into the new currency. This corrupts my entire financial history. I strongly suggest adding a feature that allows us to apply a currency change based on a specific date range. The feature should work like this: Allow the user to select a Start Date for the new currency. From that date forward, all new expenses should default to the new currency (e.g., AED). All historical data prior to that date must remain locked in the original currency (e.g., INR) without being converted.
