Duplicate Transaction for Recurring Payments
Currently, when tracking loan repayments or similar recurring transactions, users are required to manually create a new entry each time a payment is received. For example, if a user has lent ₹50,000 and receives ₹5,000 as a monthly EMI, they must repeatedly input the same transaction details every month.
This process is repetitive and time-consuming, especially when the transaction details (amount, category, notes, etc.) remain unchanged except for the date.
To improve usability, introduce a “Duplicate Transaction” feature that allows users to copy a previously recorded transaction and automatically update it with the current date. This would significantly reduce manual effort and streamline the process of recording recurring payments.
Optionally, the duplicated entry could allow quick edits before saving, ensuring flexibility while maintaining efficiency.
